2024 ELECTIONS

THE AVALANCHE WRESTLING ASSOCIATION INC. BYLAWS GOVERNING ELECTIONS
The bylaws governing the Avalanche Wrestling Association Inc., an Alaska nonprofit Corporation, dictates that a meeting of the Board of Directors shall be held annually; and thus the annual election of Directors shall occur simultaneously along with the elections of Officers, who must be members of the Board of Directors.
In keeping with the mandates of Article II, subsection A of the aforementioned Bylaws, the Authority and Responsibilities of the Board of Directors; including (without limit) the election of individuals to the Board of Directors. Article II, subsection C states that the annual election of Directors shall occur each year. At least (3) days prior to the scheduled election, a nominating committee of the Board shall transmit to each member of the Board its slate of candidates for Directors, together with a statement that each nominee is willing to serve if elected.

During the months leading up to the 2024 Season, a search for viable candidates is being conducted, in which members in good standing are being sought to accept nomination to a position(s) o the Executive Board and/or Board of Directors. Subsequently, several nominees have been vetted and accepted nomination, while diligent and mindful search for viable candidates remains steady.
The Executive Board seats open for 2024 are; President, Treasurer and Secretary. In conjunction with the executive election, two (2) of the four (4) Director seats will be re-certified with majority vote.
The Board of Directors annual election will be held in executive session and the Roberts Rule of Order, latest edition will govern the meeting.

THE AVALANCHE WRESTLING ASSOCIATION IS COMPRISED OF SEVEN (7) BOARD MEMBERS, OF WHICH ELECTIONS ARE HELD BI-ANNUALLY.
